German mass swine flu vaccinations start in September

The German health ministry announced on Friday that an estimated quarter of Germany's population will be eligible to receive the flu shots. This confirms reports earlier this week that the government had plans to order 50 million vaccine units against swine flu. The vaccines will be available from September, to coincide with an expected surge in flu cases.

Health state ministers late on Thursday agreed that chronically ill patients, health care workers, police officers, fire fighters, public workers and pregnant women can receive the injections first. Two shots are needed for the vaccination to be effective against the (A)H1N1 virus.

Goldman Sachs inside pipeline, Bob Chapman not shocked

Due to the fact that Goldman Sachs is currently the favorite of Washington they are raking in massive profits during a time when most banks and brokerage firms are struggling for survival.

Due to a very successful second quarter, Goldman has set aside $226,156 per employee in compensation – a 75% increase per employee. That means annualized compensation could be $1 million per employee for the year. We find this of great interest inasmuch as the recently converted bank received a $10 billion taxpayer bailout via Goldman’s connections in Washington. They also received a myriad of benefits from several other government schemes over the past two years. It is nice to know that in part American taxpayers made this possible while unemployment is running on a U6 basis at 20.5%, and Americans are losing their homes by the millions.

Pay surged 75% in the second quarter and compensation and benefits costs were $6.65 billion, up 37% from the equivalent quarter in 2008.

The immense profits of 33% were mainly due to trading profits of $2.7 billion. Goldman made up 24% of the Black Box program. Program trading made up 73% of all NYSE trading.

High frequency trading is one of the fastest-expanding strategies on Wall Street. The Street is no longer a place of raising capital, but a vast gambling casino. This is moral hazard at its utmost. Needless to say, the most egregious example is Goldman Sachs. A perfect example of too big to fail as an owner of the Fed. There is no question its activities distorts markets. They are leaders in credit default swaps and taxpayers bailed out Goldman via AIG for $13 billion that you were allowed to pay for. In addition, Goldman is the world’s largest insider-trading hedge fund and they are kings of crony capitalism. Almost everything this conglomeration of crooks are involved in is to the detriment of the US economy and the American people collectively. They rig markets with the complicity of our government who they have bought and paid for. They are master manipulators and creators of bankruptcies.

Goldman Sachs inside pipeline, Karl Denninger is shocked

Something really ugly popped up on Daily Kos yesterday late in the afternoon.....

...GS, through access to the system as a result of their special gov't perks, was/is able to read the data on trades before it's committed, and place their own buys or sells accordingly in that brief moment, thus allowing them to essentially steal buttloads of money every day from the rest of the punters world.

Two things come out of this:

1. If true, this should be highly illegal, and would, in any sane country result in something like what happened to Arthur Andersen...

(2. ... is way off point....)

God help Goldman if this is true and the government goes after them. This would constitute massive unlawful activity. Indeed, the allegation is that Goldman alone was given this access!

God help our capital markets if this is true and is ignored by our government and regulatory agencies, or generates nothing more than a "handslap." Nobody in their right mind would ever trade on our markets again if this occurred and does not result in severe criminal and civil penalties.

Long solar eclipse on July 22 in India

New Delhi, July 18 (PTI) Sky gazers await for the longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century on July 22 as it will provide a rare opportunity to witness the grand event for the people in west, central, east and north-east India.

A total eclipse occurs when the Sun is completely obscured by the Moon. The intensely bright disk of the Sun is replaced by the dark silhouette of the Moon, SPACE President C B Devgun said.

During the total eclipse, totality is visible only from a narrow track on the surface of the Earth.

The countries to witness the path of the Moon's umbral shadow are India and Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and China.

In India, the shadow sweeps over the cities of Surat, Indore, Bhopal, Varanasi and Patna.

Bohemian Grove meets this week

Over 2000 members -- the political, corporate, cultural and military elite of the world -- will be gathered for Satanic rituals, possibly including human ritual sacrifice. They have been meeting here since the 1880's.

According to a young Las Vegas woman who claims to have contacts inside the secretive club, a ritual sacrifice of Mary Magdalene takes place Tuesday July 21; and the ritual sacrifice of Jesus Christ takes place Wednesday, July 22. We are told that Dick Cheney was responsible for drawing up these plans -- and for illegally keeping them secret from Congressional oversight. We are also assured that these plans, promulgated by a presidential directive in 2001, "hadn't become fully operational" by the time that new CIA Director Leon Panetta terminated them after taking up his post earlier this year. The plans were developed, we're told, but never implemented. Still, the very fact of their existence is considered by some commentators as a grave scandal, one made even worse by Cheney's cover-up.

Senate passes hate bill

WASHINGTON — The Senate on Thursday approved the most sweeping expansion of federal hate crimes law since Congress responded four decades ago to the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.

The legislation, backed by President Barack Obama, would extend federal protections granted under the 1968 hate crimes law to cover those physically attacked because of their gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.

"This bill simply recognizes that there is a difference between assaulting someone to steal his money, or doing so because he is gay, or disabled, or Latino or Muslim [......or Jew?.....]," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s opening remarks during her speech to the Council on Foreign Relations yesterday will have done little to dampen accusations that the elitist CFR pulls the strings of the U.S. government.

Clinton effectively said that she was happy the CFR had created an outpost in Washington DC because it meant she did not have to travel as far to get her orders.

Here’s the full quote, according to the official transcript.

“I am delighted to be here in these new headquarters. I have been often to, I guess, the mother ship in New York City, but it’s good to have an outpost of the Council right here down the street from the State Department.”

“We get a lot of advice from the Council, so this will mean I won’t have as far to go to be told what we should be doing and how we should think about the future.”

There is a knock at the front door. Peeking through the window, a mother sees a man and a woman, both in uniform. They are agents of health-care reform.

“Excuse me, ma’am,” says the man. “Our records show that your eleven-year-old daughter has not been immunized for genital warts.”

“And your four-year-old still needs the chicken-pox vaccine,” says the woman.

“He will not be allowed to start kindergarten unless he gets that shot, you know,” says the man—smiling from ear to ear.

“So, can we please come in?” asks the woman. “We have the vaccines right here,” she says, lifting up a black medical bag. “We can give your kids the shots right now.”

Drug company greed, dangerous vaccines

(July 14, 2009) Several months ago, I wrote an on-line article about the Precautionary Principle.(1)

This principle is more well known in Europe than here in the US. This is much to our detriment.

There are three elements in taking a precautionary approach:

1. When we have reasonable suspicion of harm

2. When there is scientific uncertainty

3. We then have a duty to take action to prevent harm

The Precautionary Principle should/must be in place for all experimental drugs, genetically modified organisms, untested and/or poorly tested chemicals, and anything else that has the potential of causing grave harm BEFORE they are put on the market. This is not the reality.

Swedish man attacked by tattooed girl gang

Police in central Sweden are on the hunt for a gang of tattooed women who sexually molested a 50-year-old man as he was riding by on his bicycle. The incident took place around 9pm on July 8th as the man was cycling down Vintergatan in central Örebro, the Aftonbladet newspaper reports. Suddenly, someone grabbed hold of the rack on the back of the man’s bike, causing him to fall to the ground. “The girls ran up to him and pulled the bicycle down so he fell,” Örebro police spokesperson Annika Haaster told the newspaper. As the man was lying defenceless on the ground, the women proceeded to pull off his trousers and underwear and molest him sexually before fleeing the scene. According to police, the 50-year-old was not otherwise beaten or physically assaulted by the gang of five girls. The victim told police that the girl who actually pulled down the bicycle was about 175 centimetres (5 feet, 7 inches) tall and had tattoos on her forearms. Authorities are hoping that tips from the public can help them apprehend the suspects responsible for the bizarre attack. “It’s downright unusual for five girls [to do something like this]. Perhaps there are others who’ve had the same thing happen to them,” Haaster told Aftonbladet.

Huge blob of arctic goo in Alaska waters

Something big and strange is floating through the Chukchi Sea between Wainwright and Barrow.

Hunters from Wainwright first started noticing the stuff sometime probably early last week. It's thick and dark and "gooey" and is drifting for miles in the cold Arctic waters, according to Gordon Brower with the North Slope Borough's Planning and Community Services Department.

In April of last year I wrote an article that questioned the motives of a UN official who went public calling for a new investigation into the "neocons' role in 9/11." The person I am referring to is Richard Falk, who, as I stated in the aforementioned article, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations as well as the World Federalist Society. Richard Falk was also a leading contributor to the globalist World Order Models Project, financed by the Rockefeller Foundation and Carnegie Endowment in the 1970's, which was a report that suggested "strategies of transition" into a new global era. On top of this, Falk has published numerous books with titles such as Toward a Just World Order (1982) and The United Nations and a Just World Order (1991), calling for global governance.

Cliques: this is what the bailout is all about

Lets compare two financial companies, Goldman Sachs and CIT Group.

Goldman Sachs is a, um, well... it is very hard to describe what exactly it is.

It is not a bank (although to get our tax money, the so called bailout or even more laughable name "economic stimulus") it became one.

I think the best definition is of a leech on our financial system.

A leech is a parasite, an organism that feeds off its host while giving nothing back in return.

These candid comments from Maurice Strong, the first director of the United Nations Environmental Program, carry an especially eerie tone in the context of recent events.

Daniel Estulin, who has been chasing Bilderberg for many years, covered the 2006 meeting held in Ottawa Canada. Bilderberg attendees have included Heads of State, Mayors, business leaders, and members of the press. Investigative journalist Jim Tucker confirmed that Secretary of Treasury Timothy Geithner attended the 2009 meeting in Athens, Greece.

Estulin's sources within Bilderberg 2006 told him that "...what they [Bilderberg] are going to do over the next year, year and a half is to bring the market back up to its 1998, 1999 levels, they're going to get all the suckers to invest what little money they have left over, and that's when they're going to make the economy's bottom drop out..." Indeed, this scenario did play out in the year that followed as Estulin's Bilderberg sources told him.
