So listen carefully to what he says in video below of a speech he made a few days ago. As if the crowd were not already on his side, he butters them up with his casual, man-of-the-people style, before turning serious on them:
“Unfortunately, finding that common ground, recognising that our fates are tied up - as Doctor King said, ‘in a single garment of destiny’ - is not easy. And part of the problem of course lies in the imperfections of Man: our selfishness, our pride, our stubbornness, our inquisitiveness, our insecurities, our egos - all the qualities, large and small, that those of us in the Christian tradition understand to be rooted in original sin.”
You see? Pastor Obama is telling us that inquisitiveness is sinful.
