Berlin -- The man on trial for murdering a pregnant Egyptian woman in Germany in a frenzied anti-Islamic attack, is suicidal, his mother said in a press interview on Sunday.
"He no longer wants to live," Larissa Wiens told the mass-circulation Bild am Sonntag newspaper. "He says: 'In a computer game you can press reset and start all over again. But not in real life.'"
The paper cites a policeman as saying that Russian-born Alex Wiens, 28, said when he was arrested after the murder of Marwa al-Sherbini on July 1: "Please shoot me."

"Alex must have got his image of Islam, his hate, from television," Larissa Wiens, 55, told Bild. "I am so sorry for this woman, for her unborn child, for her son who had to watch it all happen."
A verdict is expected on November 11.

3. 12 policemen arrested in Brazil for killing 5 people IN THE PATROL CAR - obviously they were really worried about getting caught
Twelve Military Police officers have been arrested in connection with the killings of five young men in Curitiba, the capital of Brazil's Parana state, the official AEN state news agency said.
The Military Police arrested the officers, who allegedly committed the murders Sep 10 in Curitiba's Alto da Gloria neighbourhood, AEN said.
Thirteen officers pursued a stolen vehicle and decided to execute the five young men when they surrendered, AEN reported, citing the Military Police Command.
The 12 officers arrested Saturday and one who is still at large are also being investigated by prosecutors, who may charge them with murder in the civil court system, Parana Public Safety Secretary Luiz Fernando Delazari said.
The young men were killed inside a police patrol car, Delazari said.
