Groups want answers in ex-AIPAC staffers’ case May 3, 2009

WASHINGTON (JTA) -- U.S. Jewish leaders want answers as to why two former AIPAC officials were targeted for a federal investigation. [OMG BECAUSE THEY WERE CAUGHT SPYING?!@!?!>!?@?@#?!- ed.]

Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of President of Major American Jewish Organizations, questioned “the justification” for the case and the decision to bring charges under a law that had barely been used in more than 90 years.

“You don't want to reopen the whole case, but you have to look at the damage that was done,” Hoenlein said.

it should astonish me that a country that spies on another country is not only able to block that country in it's investigations, but actually force it to investigate those who were only doing their job, and even force an official apology at some point in the future.

It should astonish me, but quite frankly, it doesn't.

Israel and Zionism is quite simply the gravest threat to world peace and the continuance of the human race on this planet, a greater threat than climate change, Swine Flu, Asteroids and various exotic doomsday nonsense.
