Stike in Iran still possible, US tells Israel

This is unbelievable. Look at the way the Israelis must be gingerly handled because we might not, on second thought, launch WW III on their behalf. If people had any comprehension of the true consequences of striking Iran, they'd be duly horrified how we coddle the Israelis instead of telling them to pound sand. - Ed.

WASHINGTON -- Bush administration officials reassured Israel's defense minister this week that the United States has not abandoned all possibility of a military attack on Iran, despite widespread Israeli concern that Washington has begun softening its position toward Tehran.
