Are they covering this up to protect the killer, or is this just to preserve the fairy tale that our military consists of nothing but boy scouts instead of the truth -- that the ranks are infested with mentally damaged people. Some have self-selected themselves into the service expressly to fulfill their desire to kill people, and others have been destroyed by the US military machine. Was this one a pure psychopath? An ideal soldier? A killing machine who couldn't stop himself from coloring outside the lines? - Ed.
If Gen. Petraeus says things are rosy, they are. Questioning his integrity is an attack on all the men and women who serve in our military. The same holds true for the brave Army investigators who, when confronted with the evidence surrounding Lavena Johnson's death, ruled it a suicide.
