Reactions to this incident are interesting and one would hope that there would be even more condemnation of it than there has been to contradict the weak justifications used by the US. One would also hope that nations would speak out officially against this same thing being done in violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty. Has anyone? If so, I missed it.
US Faces International Condemnation in Wake of Syria Strike lists the Syrian government, the Lebanese government and the Arab League as condemning the attack as a violation of Syrian sovereignty, while Russia cautioned against such attacks and remarked that this would have a “sharply negative effect” on the region.
