MOSCOW, January 7 (RIA Novosti) - Russia will continue its efforts in the UN Security Council and across the Middle East to bring about a settlement to the conflict in the Gaza Strip, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Wednesday.
"Russia will not for a minute stop its efforts in the Security Council of the United Nations and directly in the region to stop the escalation of military conflict and to reach a humanitarian, and then long-term ceasefire," Andrei Nesterenko said.
