A US district court in Illinois has delayed the publication of a tapping story on Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich prior to his arrest.
According to US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, the Chicago Tribune had approached federal authorities to comment on the story.
“I knew if that story was published, those bugs could not be planted," said Fitzgerald, adding that he had asked the daily to holdup the story, as the delay would serve "public interest."
